"Bigfoot" guarantees hes clean

The results of the drugs tests made after last EliteXC’s event included Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva’s name. The new heavyweight champion of the event tested positive for boldenone, but his manager, Alex Davis, guarantees he’s clean and it’s a big mistake. “On behalf of Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, as his manager I come to this site to declare Antonio's innocence. These are Antonio's words: 'Dear family, friends, fans and public, I did not use the steroid boldenone, or any other steroid of prohibited substance. I don't agree and never have agreed with the use of this kind of product in order to win, for this is cheating. I will go to the full extent of my power and the law to prove my innocence in this matter”, told the manager to Stay tuned for further information.

Who knows, i want to believe him but i have been burned in the past by other fighters.

I don't understand how anybody can take a banned substance unless they are thick.

They know they're going to get tested, it just confuses me how people can be so stupid. I'm not talking about Silva here, I don't know what to think of it. I just don't get why you would do it when you are fighting for a Heavyweight title.

And he was facing Justin Eilers, who is a better loser than he is winner.

That's what puzzled me to, it was almost a guaranteed win for Silva so the only reason I could see him taking boldenone was possibly to recover from an injury.

From reading about it on wikipedia, if Big Foot is clean as he says he is, he should request another series of tests because the drug apparently stays in your system for 1.5 years.

IDK what to believe since it has to do with the CSAC aka the most corrupt Commision in the sport.

Ok and second good god the guy is the size of a flipping horse how can they use the same testing procedure and standards for him?

69nites 08-21-2008 04:47 PM

the guy tested positive.

the only way that happened and he didn't know about it is cross contamination.

Do we know how much was found?

I dont know anything about steriods or the testing procedures but I sure hope he is innocent because I like Silva quite a bit and was hoping he would become a big force at HW
