Wow that paints a horrible picture of Elite XC. But honestly I think the truth lies somewhere in between. I think Elite XC probably screwed Noons over a bit but I'm sure he did so as well.

One point I'm not sure why he's complaining about is that they wanted him to sign a long term deal before fighting on CBS for the first show.

That makes perfect sense to me of course they would want to be giving Network TV time to guys who are going to be in the company.

I think Noons and Elite XC both are in the wrong here. I'm still not getting why Noons won't fight Diaz but he will fight Alvarez.

Because he knows EXC is only offering him Diaz so they can get some ratings on the CBS show, rather than trying to schedule a fight with Eddie who is without a doubt the #1 contender. It's only helping EXC out, not Noons.

Higher ratings mean more people are watching. The more people watching the better for Noons. So I think it would help Noons as well.

Eddie can't fight right now he's getting married. He also is under contract with 2 other promotions.

Diaz is the number 1 contender in the eyes of Elite XC which means it's Noons job as the champion to fight him.

But wasn't it EXC's job to promote KJ not only in his MMA career (which they've done very little of) as well as his boxing career?

I'm sure KJ is aware of the amount of people that would watch that fight, but it's EXC's job to be a fair employer as well. Takes 2 to tango. He didn't say he wouldn't fight Nick, just not right now. EXC hasn't really sat down with KJ either, to try and work something out, really it's been "Take it, or leave it" coming from Shaw. I'm sure if they sat down and really talked about it, things would smooth out.

I have a feeling that that was more on Shaw and his personal promotional company than EXC.

Sinister I'm sure some fault lies with EXC actually I'm sure a lot of the fault goes to EXC. However I also think KJ shouldn't complain about the EXC not promoting him and passing him over when they are offering him a great chance to become a star in MMA.

I doubt it's Noons EXC wants to make a star out of this fight.

But if Noons wins then he will be a star. I think Noons is being way to sensitive. Win your fight on CBS and you will be a star. The EXC can't just ignore a guy they are putting on CBS.

I think Noons is trying to prove a point and he's just hurting himself.

EXC can put together a Alvarez vs Diaz fight for the interm title and no one will say hey thats unfair to Noons ATM.

He needs to win a little more I mean the guy is only 3-1.

Very true bbjd, this would be the early chance to expose KJ but I think it goes way deeper than just the CBS show. And yeah while he does have a right to have a say in his opponents, this will hurt him in the long run.

He's actually 7-2, 3-1 in EXC.

He has a say but as champion of Elite XC he is supposed to fight who Elite XC thinks is his top contender.

I mean Alvarez has done great in Dream but he is also only 1-0 in Elite XC.

And yea I know Noons isn't 3-1 in MMA I meant Elite XC.
