Griffin & Edgar would both beat Gomi?

Was reading some comments on a blog last week. A few guys were taking about how good of westlers Griffin & Edgar were, and how they should be ranked higher than Gomi. If you ask me Gomi's record says it all, and if you were to match these guys up Gomi would finish. The way i see it; worse cases if Gomi makes a mistake he gets taken down (both can't hardly finish a fight). If either of those guys makes a mistake against gomi...KO!!

If the Gomi of pride then yes I think Gomi would win by TKO/KO or decision. But if the same Gomi that was at Sengoku 4, I really think Griffin and Edgar could beat Gomi.

I really want the Dream/Sengoku lightweight to fight the ufc lightweights. I am sure if that where to happen a lot of ufc lightweight would break into the top 10.

I agree with you. I saw his last fight and he just doesn't seem like his old self.

I hear what your saying about gomi not being his old self in his last fight. Perhaps that was his game plan (low kicks & foot work) and followed it, instead of going out there and banging with his opponent and risking a loss on his record. Forrest Griffin beat rampage the same way, and there is no shame in that... a win's a win. Gomi just went out and fought smart.

They have a chance, but I would go with Gomi beacuse of bias.

Oh, come on, Gomi didn't look that bad against Pang. Dude threw some nice leg-kicks and was more patient.
