IMO, that's the same thing as talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Remember this is the same guy who said Fedor sucks and isn't a top 5 HW. I repeat HE SAID FEDOR SUCKS. How stupid is that? Even before Fedor beat Tim, everyone with a brain knew that was company line BS. If Fedor has been under contract with the UFC, he never would have said that.

Mark my words, should EXC go under, Dana would sign Kimbo in a heartbeat. Yes, he'll sign a guy who he said sucks if he thinks that guy can draw and allow Dana to buy some more homes. He'll just say he's giving Kimbo a chance to prove himself in the best organization in the world. Great company-line BS answer don't you think?

You say he's a refreshing personality, but he reminds me of an an insecure kid in high school who talks shit about a girl just because she rejected him. In Fedor's case, he should have said from the start that he's a great fighter but they just couldn't come to a contract agreement. But instead he says he sucks, calls him a crazy Russian, etc.
Did you just compare Kimbo and Fedor? Fedor doesn't suck. Kimbo does suck. However his management is crazy. They have kept him from the top competition for too long. They don't necessarily look for what is best for Fedor's career as far as his legacy.

Didn't say Kimbo does not suck. Reread my post. The whole point of it which apparently escaped you was Dana is full of hot air. He'll say so and so sucks when they are not with the UFC, but he'd have no problem signing them later.

The difference is though, the UFC tried to get Fedor, they never made an attempt at Kimbo. He will never be in the UFC.

I think we all know Dana said Fedor sucked, because he was pissed. He tried everything to get him into the company. He offered him more than any other UFC fighter in history, and he turned it down. I think Dana will try to sign Kimbo after Elite XC goes under, then he will feed him to guys like O'brien, Velazquez, and Carwin. The difference is that he won't put him as a head liner.

Why wouldn't the UFC sign a fighter who has a 3-0 record in MMA and can draw millions of people to tune in? Dana doesn't like money now? This sport is all about money, that's why Dana signed a pro wrestler for a huge amount when he only had a 1-0 MMA record at the time, it's why Dana puts down EXC and Affliction, it's why he schedules UFC events on Spike to coincide with the CBS EXC show, it's why's he says Kimbo sucks. If Kimbo can make Dana a lot of money, he'd have no problems signing him.

How Kimbo would do in the UFC is a whole different matter as Dana would be content to use Kimbo up and spit him out if doesn't produce and make the company money. They will not treat him like royalty as EXC does.

I really think Dana is enough of a dick to ruin Kimbo's career. When Elite XC goes under, Dana will sign Kimbo. I really think he's going to put him against mid-carders with good ground games. He'll lose three or four in a row and lose his drawing power. It will boost a few PPV's to have him on the under card, and Dana will get to say I told you so.
