they both need it to happen. If Ken can beat kimbo and plays it smart it will instantly gain him a boost that he has desperately needed. It will also set up for shamrock vs shamrock. Both guys want it to happen because its going to be a bad ass pay day for them both. Supposedly from what Im hearing theirs a bidding war for that fight.
Strike force, elite xc and affliction are both trying to sighn the fight but both guys are holding out to see what happens with the kimbo fight. If Ken can win the value of the fight will sky rocket.
Im a big shamrock fan he likes to make great fights happen. The cung le vs shamrock fight was pretty great and so was the baroni vs shamrock fight. He has a couple of fights in the works right now that he is trying to get together that I want to see.
