It's equally stupid but I understand why the UFC is doing it.
Yet you fail to understand the exact same reason in it's application to Fedor being marketed. Both fighters need more attention from the mainstream MMA fan, and media in general. The Anderson Silva commercials I mentioned fulfill the exact same function as the Affliction Fedor ones.
In the same sense that I satirize your silly deifying of Emelianenko (strange that you spin it as flattering "imitation"), the UFC respond as idiotically to the "Fedor is Alah!(sp?)" kock-swallowing with their own version of the silliness "Anderson is MMA's God".
Don't give yourself that much credit, if you want satire, watch some Godard films and learn how to do it correctly. Poor imitation does not equate to elevated humor or satire, satire is fueled by intellectual wit, something you are clearly bereaved of. You are cheap parody, definitely not satire.
Personally, I think its a silly notion to say Fedor could hang with Silva in a purely stand up fight(despite his size advantage)...Silva would murder Fedor standing -- Silva is no Tim Sylvia clutz.
I'm not sure where you're getting that assertion from, as I've never stated Fedor would beat Silva standing. At the same time though, Ryo Chonan more than held his own, even out-countering Silva in their fight, so who is to say Fedor couldn't?
Equally, Silva couldn't last 10 seconds on the ground against Fedor. He'd be sexually assaulted.
Now speaking purely in MMA terms, were it possible for Fedor to fight in Silva's weight class, I'm certain Silva would finish Fedor in the first -- don't shit your panties with rage at my blasphemy, IT'S TRUE.
That's subjective, please don't act though your own point of view is objective, it makes your opinion laughable.
Equally, were it that Silva could stuff his face on pork rinds for a couple of months to fight Fedor on his turf, Silva would be murdered.
Great, thanks for your insightful comment.
Beyond sport, in a real fight, however, the faster fighter wins. There are no cages that limit your mobility, no rules about kicking a grounded wrassler/grappler, elbows over the head. I know whom I think would win -- despite the weight difference. He needs no mentioning.
The faster fighter wins? That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever read. If there's anything you should learn about fights, it's that anything can happen. Kinda like how Daiju Takase and Ryo Chonan made Anderson tap like a little girl.
But yeah, I won't mention the fighter who has never tapped or been legitimately defeated
PS: Congrats on being banned, I guess people around here simply couldn't comprehend your cognitive brilliance.
