Where Does Cro Cop vs Nogueira (Final Conflict 2003) Rank In Your All-Time Best List?

Such a captivating fight. Mirko hit Nog with some disgustingly hard shots that would kill a regular man. Nogueira didn't give up. Mirko looked like a badass here, stalking Nog and just kicking the hell out of him for about 6 minutes straight. These weren't pitty patty punches, these were shots that would cave in dudes skulls. Even Dana was completely shocked by how hard Mirko hit Nog. Can you imagine hearing those shots live?

Nog finally gets the takedown and you get the feeling that now Mirko's in danger. Nog easily gets mount, Mirko gets sloppy and Nog slaps on an armbar.

Just amazing. Breathtaking, even. You will not find a more emotional fight. Well, there's the Sapp fight, but Nogueira's post-fight celebration in the Mirko fight was really something special. I have this in my top 20. Number 15 to be exact.

Discuss.

I dunno Damone, I think Nogueira's fight with Sylvia was a more emotional fight, Nog was wobbly as hell for a good round and a half, then he ****ed up Tim's shit in 3 seconds.

Mirko/Nog is an amazing fight though, I think I'd place it in my top 20 as well.. not sure where though, exactly.

Here's a good video of that fight. Really good sound quality. Those kicks sound like baseball bats.

Dunno about top 20. It was a nice fight, but indeed I like Sylvia vs. Nog more as a fight even though it wasn't as "meaningful" fight as Mirko vs. Nog was. It was good fight but Im pretty sure I can name atleast 20 fights that were better in my opinion.

Post the list, if not done.

It was pretty epic stuff, the kind of fight that defines Nogueira. Mirko was a killer back then and Nogueira took his best. Kind of funny that Nogueira gets stuffed on every shot until he sets it up with a little combination.

It's in my top 20, definitely.

CroCop was punishing him for an entire round and you could see how relieved Nog was when he submitted him. It's what MMA is all about.

This was the first time I actually saw Crocop and I instantly was glued to that left kick. He'll be back...

I remember I was pretty pissed off because cro cop lost. I didn't know anything about Nog, but today he is my favorite fighter besides fedor and cro cop. Great fight indeed.

Now I'm gonna go and listen to Pink Floyd-Wish you were here and think of cro cop.
