Can this section name be changed?

Now that Elite XC is dead can this sections name be changed?

Considering these two should never have been sharing a section in the first place I think it's time.

We are waiting until EXC is completely dead, like we never here from it again (and I will take much pleasure in taking EXC off our forum).

Ok good to know I'm sure having Elite XC in the name helps this section get views just personally I've thought that Strikeforce and Elite XC should have seperate threads for a long time. I mean Cage Rage had it's own section and Elite XC and Cage Rage are both Pro Elite Companies.

I felt this section helped propel the misunderstanding that Strikeforce and Elite XC are owned by the same company.

Well alone they never had that many threads before, so we have to bunch up the ones that are least popular among the members

I understand it just led to a lot of annoying situations.

And coldcall while Strikeforce might not be the biggest national promotion, money wise they are turning a profit. They have a good roster of fighters, good champions after Saturday their champions will be Thomson, Cung Le, Babalu, and Overeem. They have a deal with NBC and are working on getting a live card on TV in 09.

Strikeforce unlike Elite XC and IFL is actually well built and aren't going anywhere.

Dont remember sayin Strikeforce were goin anywhere I was just talking about the actual amount of traffic on the Forum........

In terms of managing this forum they prob put them together because the amount of traffic is light for each organization..........I dont dislike Strikeforce just pointing out a fact......

O ok I know you hated Elite XC so I thought you were ripping Strikeforce as well.

And yeah I understand it makes sense It just bugged me to have these two combined and KOTC which is/was owned by Pro Elite having it's own section.

Strikeforce and EliteXC were merged into one section because they shared alot of fighters and cross promoted each event.

The upcoming Strikeforce card had Yves Edwards fighting for a Strikeforce title before Thompson pulled out. Yves is under EliteXCs banner.

F.Shamrock is signed to StrikeForce and EliteXC. So they worked in very close circles with eachother.

Both Orgs are out of California. Strikeforce being out of San Jose, and EliteXC based out of Los Angeles.

It caused alot of confusion between the two.

If EliteXC gets disbanded or auctioned off, this section will be renamed.

Yes but to be fair they cross promote because of a law suit. They had a terrible working relationship.

They cross promoted at times and shared some fighters but once again considering that Cage Rage, and KOTC had their own threads while Strikeforce and Elite XC shared one I still think it was wrong.
