Exclamation Help please?

i have been surfing the e-net, looking for rules/tips on my problem...i have been fighting for 4 months now, and going to compete soon, but heres my problem, i have guages, size 2. If you dont know what that means, i have a freaking huge hole in my ear, im afarid a finger might get caught inside said hole and rip it wide open while im fighting, any ideas on how i can stop this from happening? or is there a rule already that deals with this?
should i maybe put tape on it?

I doubt that'll happen. A two gauge is still a bit small for a finger to get in unless your opponent is actually trying to get one in. Plus, it has to be way illegal in any event to even attempt to grab an ear due to the ease in which one can be torn off.

What's more important to you, having gauged ears or fighting? If you're serious about fighting I would let your ears close up. By the way, I used to have 00 gauges and I could barely get my pinky through, so I'm not entirely sure what you're worried about.

as cornbread said, you gotta choose between fighting and making the holes in your ears larger.

i recommend, if you are serious about fighting to let your ears close up so if you are competing, you can concentrate on the fight and not have your ear issue in your head.

i was thinking of going bigger...like maybe to 7/16, but ill just stay where i am now. maybe even let them close up?
ill try the tape idea at pratice...tell you how it works...

it would be like the tape you use when wraping your angles or wrist, if that makes it better...

thanks alot for all your help!!!!

please keep replying and piut your ideas or your 2 cents

Yeah, tape em up. I wouldn't stretch them any more or they might be a problem.

If you're serious about fighting, you should just let them close up. Although it would be difficult for someone to get their finger in their and rip it(and it would be a totally illegal move) it's possible. But if you're so "clingy" to your gauges, at least tape them up for a match.

I doubt 2 gauge hole will close on there own. It will take a painless local anethesia office surgery to repair them
