Some great and bloody elbows dished out over the years...
Here are some of my favorites.
1. Shogun Rua splitting Forrest's brow, seemed to swing the fight back in Rua's favor greatly.
2. Kenny Florian throwing his right elbow like a hook to Karalexis nose. Raiseing his hands knowing he cut him bad and ending the fight.
3. Anderson Silva literaly KOing Fryklund with an elbow OUCH!
4. Joe Stevenson destroying Yves Edwards with bloody elbows. Yves was one of my favorite fighters at the time. That bloodbath was so painfull to watch, a tear almost came to my eye as I screamed throw in the towel, throw in the towel
5. I get sweet revenge when Penn was on top of Stevenson and landing that vicious elbow. Instantly the blood starts to pour. I wonder what was going through Stevenson's mind at the time (besides getting his ass kicked), damn, this is mighty familiar.
6. David Loiseau had arguably the nastiest elbows in the sport at the time; landing quik and nasty back to back elbows to the head of Jorge Rivera's head. That was pretty to watch, lost the fight though:dunno:
Those im sure are just a few, what are some of your favorite, bloody and fight ending elbows you can remember? Share
Anderson's elbows of mass destruction when putting Lutter in a triangle.
Edit: Didn't want to bring this up but I can't help but think, even though this is sacreligious, of Tsuyoshi Kohsaka's accidental elbow that landed on...well you know.

Those were some vicious bows. It completely turned that fight around.
It's interesting how good Loiseau can look when he is aggressive but he can't seem to sustain it. I'm not sure why, he may be just mentally fucked. I really hope he can learn to flip that switch and maybe fight his way back into the UFC, because when he is aggressive it's really like night and day. Sorry to get off topic.
You know, thats the day I forever hated Gary Goodridge. First of all he had the guy by like 60 pounds and the 2nd elbow landed put Herrera to sleep; why fire away another 10 elbows?? To prove what? You can possibly cause brain damage to some one alot smaller than you:dunno: Lost all respect for him. I loved it every time he got knocked out after that.
Oh yeah, was some devastating elbows though, Gary had em the *ahem* reverse Salavary...
Loiseau also beat Fryklund with a savage elbow in a TKO fight. He landed a flush elbow that split Fryklunds forehead almost from top to bottom. It looked like he got hit with an axe in the face.
Smith vs Morris. Goodridge vs herrera. David the crow against anybody (when he was on), Tito vs Ken. Koscheck vs chris lytle. Silva vs Frklund was amazing. Florian openened upsherk and Pierre against matt hughes, Bas rutten cut up Randalmans head in about 5 places from the bottom, anderson silva against Lutter< those looked like they were painful

GSP's elbows on Sherk... I mean he broke his nose and made his gasp in pain one time, then soon thereafter make him YELP in pain. Those elbows certainly were the start of the end for Sherk in that fight.
Man am glad we have moved on from those days ^^^^^^
The was no skill what so ever in that fight and they were both gassed in the first minute and some people wonder why it had such a bad name for itself.
