A bunch of the TUF guys say they hadn't been training long and their all 18+. I'm sure starting some kind of fighting style earlier would of been better but 15 isn't that old. Plus if you start off with really good trainers you shouldn't develop bad habbits as easy. Shoot didn't GSP not do any wrestling in high school.?.

ya your wayy to old i started when i was 1

jk no 15 is acually the perfect age to start training
alot of fighters in the ufc have only been training mma for 2 years, but they do have a solid background somwere else.

I started wrestling when i was twelve and mma when i was 16
dont worry about it.

gday mate!

not too old no way. especially if you hav that aussie determination and self-belief.

though being a natural athlete and/or a quick learner helps.

I coach soccer and tell my kids the same thing, its all about how bad you want it.

also loving what you do is integral

living in the sticks is a pain but just gather all the info you can and get started. find a mate to practice with. then when you can get to a capital city and find somewhere to train

there are places everywhere in oz now

good luck!

hire dvd's! watch them all, again and again!

i watched alot of mma b4 eventually rolling around (had done some karate b4 that) and i found that alot of the movement had sunk in to my head

my first love (as far as watching) was muay thai. you are probably the right age as opposed to me who, at your age, barely even had any muay thai gyms let alone mma

and listen to the guys on this forum (especially the senior ones), they know alot of stuff.

once again good luck
