Matt Hamill Training With Renzo Gracie

If this guy gets a ground game?... forget about it. He can take down anyone at 205 if he wants to and can't be taken down. I hope he brings it to Reese Andy. I think he hit a little speed bump and couldn't hurt his friend against Franklin. He kicked Bispings a$$ and outstruck him and Bisping is a quicker striker than Franklin. This guy has a ton of talent and he'll prove it against Andy....and now he's adding a ground game. Go Hammer!

I agree completely that Matt Hamill with a functional ground game is a major threat to the LHW division, but the problem is whether or not he'll actively use it. As we saw in the Rich Franklin fight, he has problems following his own game plan as well as his corner's advice. His trainers weren't too happy about that and subsequently bitched him out in some interviews.

He's an incredibly wrestler who can almost certainly take down anybody in the division. If he starts employing this tactic, his best asset, I think he'll give the division tons of problems, BJJ or not. With BJJ, forgetaboutit.

...I misread the title and thought it said MARK Hamill. My bad. I thought Luke Skywalker was trying to get into the ring or something.
