Where does Couture vs. Liddell I rank in your favorite fights?

Randy was coming off 2 big losses to heavier fighters in Barnett and Rodriguez so he decides to move down LHW where Tito is champion and ducking Chuck while Chuck is literally the SHIT knocking guys out left and right.

The fight starts and what seems to be a fight made for Chuck's style turns into being a great upset. Randy completely dominated the stand-up, while taking Chuck down multiple times, who has a reputation for being extremely difficult to take down. Randy outstrikes him while taking some hard shots from Liddell and in the meantime Rogan slobbers all over Randy's nuts saying that he is a stud and whatnot. Hell, Randy dominated Chuck so bad that even Chuck was looking for a TAKEDOWN. A TAKEDOWN! From Chuck Liddell onto the WRESTLER RANDY COUTURE.

I have this fight in my top 10 probably number 6. It's a damn shame Randy didn't look the same in the other 2 fights against Chuck. Discuss.

I would rank it among my top 10 fights for a few reasons, (Hmm never thought of a top 10 fav fights list. need to discuss this on another thread later) Randy moved down a notch as my favorite fighter from #1 to #2 in the last couple of years and guess who took his spot GSP!!! Both coaches of the first season of the TUF. MMA spreading like wild fire at the time, Randy 40 year old blah blah beating younger stonger guys, and being the under dog yet again... Randy was the best in my eyes at the time and this fight will always have a special place for me...

Just an amazing performance by Couture, really the blueprint fighting style for most North American mma. Him boxing up Liddell and proceeding to break him down with calculated takedowns was brilliant.

I'm a huge Randy fan, so this definitely ranks in the top 5 for me, along with Hughes vs. Trigg 2, Randy vs. Tim, and... I'll think of some more later.

Hughes - Trigg 2 ruled. Randy - Chuck 1 was a good fight but it's probably not in my top 20 TBH.

Man there's been some AWESOME MMA fights over the years. Hughes - Trigg 2 just makes my top 3 but Shogun - Little Nog and Wandy - Rampage 2 are joint top and very hard to beat IMO.
