Heros of the Golden Age dropping like Flies!
Strange time in MMA! All the hero's of MMA are starting to look bad!
Big Nog gets TKO'ed by Frank Mir
Chuck Liddell gets KO'ed by Rampage and Rashad. Then he drops a decision to Keith Jardine.
Shogun is submitted by Forrest
Wanderlei gets Ko'ed three times in the past two years and then drops a decision to Chuck Liddell.
Cro Cop gets Ko'ed by Gonzaga, drops a decision to Cheick Kongo, was getting dominated by Overeem.
Matt Hughes gets destroyed by GSP twice and then loses to Thiago Alves.
Gomi puts on two lackluster fights then gets submitted by Kitaoka in under a minute.
Evan Tanner gets KO'ed by Yushin Okami and loses a boring decision against an overrated Kendall Grove.
Tim Sylvia but on lackluster performances against AA, Vera, Monson, gets dominated by Randy Couture, gets submitted by Big Nog, and gets destroyed by Fedor in just 36 seconds.
Tito Ortiz unfortunately became more of a glorified business man. Did slightly better against guys like Rashad, Forrest, and Machida then other fighters but never really looked the same since his chrushing defeat at the hands of Randy Couture.
Now my question is do you feel depressed or excited that all this is happening? Personally, I kind of like it. Yeah it sucks seeing are favorites going down but its exciting seeing new up and comers coming into there own against Elite level fighters. Showing that this sport is evolving.

This is probably the most depressing post I have ever read. (When did Tito face a crushing loss to Tito?)

Yeah, this is yet another reason why I'm not too interested in MMA again.
Yeah yeah, the next guy can optimistically come in and say "Oh well it's the passing of the torch, you should be looking forward to the new and young talent sprouting out!"
I say f*ck that, I'm an old timer, I lost a large piece of my heart when PRIDE died, and now that all it's reminants, and even the UFC icons are dropping, there's nothing left for me to cling on.
But what I do like about this bittersweet situation is that you can no longer say it's only the PRIDE guys that suck now because a good chunk of the UFC's guys have dropped as well. So that arguement is officially dead.
Still sad though

We still have Aoki, plazz, we still have Aoki.
Nog getting smoked by Mir is just so wrong.

Yeah, I told this to MLS the other day, and I know I'm gonna get so much flak for it, but I have completely shifted my attention to either K-1, or Japanese MMA. Nothing against UFC, but it's just played out in my mind.
So I'm excited for Kitaoka and Aoki. Obviously not as much as before, but still, I really like those dudes.

You forgot to add Mark "The Ironhead" Hunt getting KTFO by Melvin Manhoef.
Seriously some of the worst news all year.
