That's what I initially thought but then I realized the majority of Fighter's are either Muay Thai practitioners or BJJ practitioners. You HAVE to be pretty flexible to be good at either of those disciplines. Even in wrestling you have to be flexible. I've only been training for 7 months now, granted I go 5 times a week for 2 hours a day, but I am now very flexible when at first I wasn't. Any other thoughts? Thanks for the reply.
