He's a LW in Japan, same size as Aoki. WW in Japan is like 189lbs or something. Sakurai is considered a LW in Japan.
Shooto MW champ at 167lbs, UFC he fought a 170lbs and PRIDE against Gomi he fought at liek 163lbs. When did he ever fight at LW?
That isn't what happened. Sakurai spiked him on his skull his body followed his head(hint:because it has no other choice) sending his legs flailing outward meaning he would have ended up with Mach ontop of him in side control had his legs not caught the top rope just after he got spiked reversing his bodies momentum, with his head no longer moving to counter that, pushing him ontop of Sakurai's back. It is called physics retard he didn't counter anything it was a fluke happening that gave him the best possible position in MMA instead of being in a position of huge disadvantage and it was the deciding factor in the fight.
I'll do this very slowly, so you can mathc it up with the video.
4.00 Sakurai headlcoks Gomi.
4.01 Sakurai postitions himself so that his left leg is in front of Gomi and they are standing side by side. Going for a hip toss clearly. It's a common Judo throw, I don't know the term for it. It isn't a head spike, thats for sure.
4.02 Gomi hasn't left the ground. He is holding Mach in a wasitlock. They fall to the ground, with very little momentum whatsoever. Gomi lands straight down, headfirst, nowhere near being turned over or anywhere near the underneath of Sakurai
4.03 They land. they are in the exact same position they were standing up. Sakurai still has the headlock. Gomi is on the left of Sakurai.
4.04 Gomi still on the left side of Sakurai
4.05 Gomi still on the left side of Sakurai
4.06 Gomi moves to the right side of Sakurai. 3 second delayed bounce FTW!!1
4.09 Gomi Takes Sakurais back, sinking the hooks in.
So it took six seconds for those ropes to propel Gomi onto Sakurais back eh?
And you are telling me Gomis FOOT bouncing off the ropes is what prevented Sakurai from flipping him over? HIS FOOT? Despite the fact Gomis hips and entire upper body never even came near 90 degrees from the floor
? His foot, with his knee bent, completely limp, manged to generate enough force to propel Gomi first to the opposite side of Sakuria, then to his back(da best position in MMA") over a time duration of six seconds? His foot?
Why don't you watch the video next time?
And you have the audactity to call me a retard?
You are wrong you damn nuthugger. Don't be so butthurt your boy got whomped to let it cloud your logic that much.
"It's Physics retard"...lol.
