I was really impressed with the quality of the show. Much better production than Affliction. My only problem is Bill Goldberg, he is terrible. They need another color commentator. If Alffliction and Strikeforce could merge together with the talent they both got, they could give the UFC some competition.

I thought it was a very good night of fights. If Thompson faught, it would have been a GREAT card. But Goldberg gotta go, hes clueless.

Exactly, I dont think jdun11 saw yesterday's card. Bill Goldberg was a commentator for Elite XC. It was Pat Militech, Ranallo and the other guy I forgot his name.

Strike force is the number 2 MMA org to me, its the only other place with actual belts and champions, unlike Affliciton.

EliteXC canned Bill Goldberg 2 shows before they went under. He hasn't commentated a ProElite or Strikeforce event in over 6 months.

Lastnight it was Mauro, Patt and Quadros.

I liked Patt a lot actually! Really knew how to talk about a fight and have it make sense while at the same time conveying what fighters need to do, are doing right, and are doing wrong. Real good for new MMA viewers who might not know what they are looking at.

Yeah I really like Strikeforce as well, and Yesterday's show just impressed me more. I like how much they've improved their roster of fighters lately. Hope to see more of these events.

Lol that commentator gus whathisname was brilliant....everytime he'd talk to the fighters i couldnt stop laughing. He looks so indifferent and emotionless that its unbelieveable, while mauro could make watching paint dry intresting.....just drop him and bring in El Guappo and i'll tune in just to watch those two commentate.

Pat Militech was suprisingly good as a commentator....while others like ortiz who i thought would be naturals where quite horrid!

Ya, this was a nice writeup. I too am impressed by Strikeforce and they put on a decent show. The production is good and even the announcers I can handle. I hope they continue to add to their roster and stay away from any stupid mistakes.
