i think RJJ would be looking for a slice of the gate & tv deal. while he certainly hasn't earned it in MMA he does have the draw and would probably shatter viewership records for broadcast TV of an MMA event if it were on CBS or something.

still, aint gonna happen.

Everyone who watches MMA will be looking for a broken bone. I hope Diaz stands up and does the "Cantwell, I broke his ******* arm chant" when its over. I'm sick of Jim Lamphere and all of his boxing *** cronies talking shit on MMA.

I'm not even sure that Jones would last with a good MMA striker. He'd be succeptable to clinch work, knees, throws, high and low kicks and elbows.

The more I think of it. I think Nick would have an awsome chance standing against Roy Jones Jr.

As long as he is standing in MMA rules Diaz will have the advantage. Roy isn't used to seeing leg kicks and Thai clinch as well as dirty boxing against the cage while trying to defend a take down that he really doesn't want to happen cause then its all over on the ground. I have a hard time believing that Jones has been kickboxing and rolling to get ready for a fight. And even if he has it hasn't been long enough to break his boxing habits that will get him killed in MMA.

Especially against a guy like Nick Diaz who has excellent reach and cuts great angles when striking.

His ground game is truley second to none. He'd really stop Roy Jones Jr. But than again, he'd stop alot of great fighters.

RJJ needs to fight someone like Ryan Jensen or Phil Baroni if he wants an MMA victory.
