Arona, Lil Nog, Paulo Filho & Pedro Rizzo will headline an event in Rio de Janeiro

Translated from the blog of Sensei SporTV, the most important martial arts show in Brazilian TV:

Sensei Blog Archive

Amaury Bitetti, head of the Bitetti Combat, event that will take place at the Maracanazinho, Rio de Janeiro, in September, just confirmed to Sensei SporTV crew a cast of fighter that will make the event arguably even more atractive to us Brazilian than many editions of the UFC.

At the same night the fans will have the opportunity to see Ricardo Arona, Paulão Filho, Pedro Rizzo and Rogério Nogueira "Minotouro".

And it could get even better: Vitor Belfort is very close to a deal. "If Vitor doesn't sign, will be Murilo Ninja Rua", disclose Bitetti.

Also, the fights will be in a cage, not in a ring.

(...)

Amaury also confirmed some of the fights:

Minotouro will face Alex Stiebling and Pedro Rizzo will fight against fellow Brazilian heavyweight Gerônimo “Mondragon”.

Even the preliminary bouts will be atractive.

Glover Teixeira will fight against Leonardo Chocolate in a rematch of the championship bout of the ADCC trials, earlier this year.

Rematch also with K-1 vetern Vitor Miranda against Fábio Maldonado.

BJJ aces Miltinho Vieira vs. Luciano Azevedo is also a highly aticipated matchup.

Even the referees of the event will be big starts: Big John McCarthy and Renzo Gracie.

The scorecards will be under the responsability of Fernando Pinduka, Osíris Maia e Roan Jucão.

The Bitetti Combat is schedule to September 12th.

This article says that Arona will be facing Marvin Eastman and will be the main event.

Well, I hope Arona will win this. I mean, he's supposed to, but such a long lay-off might've affected his skills.

Arona, Nogueira, Belfort and Filho WAR!

I didn't know that. But that is one Tito fight that I'd love to see. I see Arona putting him through a serious grinder before finishing him.
