I mean its going to keep happening this way untill one mma league makes itself dominant. The UFC was dominant for awhile but out of no where people started popping up with mma leagues all over the place. I mean there are alot of decent leagues out there now. I think whats going to happen is one league is going to get alot of big namers and either buy out or merge with some of the other leagues or just run them out of buisness.

Its a new sport so really your always going to see new leagues trying to come up when people have to much money and a desire to cash in on whats hot. If WWE made a mma league it might get interesting though.

These people are alot better with amping up a fight imagine they put the ring entrances and outros into mma and amp up the fight the way the wwf did back in the day. I remember when I was little those promos would get me amped up for a week waiting for the ppv event. Adding some showmenship to mma might improve the expereince for those watching.

I really wouldn't mind it. I've actually been a WWE fan for a long time and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I just hope if he does go through with it he doesnt make it fake and build fake storylines. :P

I'd love to see Shelton Benjamin enter the league instead of being in WWE, actually put his good skills to use.

Complete Fing BS!
WWE shouldn't even think about MMA, sure its rough getting greased up and tossing eachother around in choreographed matched but that in no way means you can take a punch to the face.

Well I'm sure the wrestlers in WWE wouldn't be in it..I'd hope not anyways, ONLY Shelton Benjamin should because he has a real background in this sort of thing.

The reason I brought up the XFL was because Vince McMahon has all these ideas, and a lot of money but when it comes time to execute, it bombs. Vince creating a MMA event would be taking with all seriousness, he has deep pockets, and if he wanted to he could buyout a lot of MMA fighters. I can see some fighters from the UFC, Pride, IFL, and the WFA going and fighting in Vince's organization. Think about it, would you fight in the UFC for $50,000 or fight for Vince at $100,000? If this does happen, it will be like BoDog in the sense that Vince also has deep pockets. The only thing bad about it is if he incorporates his pro wrestlers in the organization, which he will undoubtably do, making it not legitimate.

Well, I'm not suprised. NJPW has some of agreement with PRIDE about having MMA fighters like Walid Isamil represent NJPW in MMA events, or become wrestlers like Bob Sapp and wrestlers turning MMA competitors which turned out to be quite successful with Fujita being one of the wrestlers turned MMA fighters.

Arrgh this would be the wrost thing to happen to MMA. Vince already fuked the wrestling franchise, dont let him do the same to MMA. I can see it now greased up fighters, fixed cards and shock match interferences!!!!

Stay in wrestling Vince!
