Oh come on! his shorts rock!

the only thing u can hate about him are not related to how he fights.. like his music entrance or his lack of any expression(like fedor).

Exactly. Both these guys could easily walk around and act like they own the world and it would be justified because they really are that good. However they don't. They are humble and respectful of their fans and their opponents. In the ring they are true warriors. They always give everything they have and they learn from their experiences and come back even better (which is scary at this point). Outside the ring they are both gentlemen.

Even if the cold war was still going on and the US audience was supposed to hate guys like CroCop and Fedor, I believe they would still love them. These guys break down any national, racial, ethnic, or religious boundaries.

Edit: Also CroCop's shorts rock!

I haven't watch many of his fights unfortunately, but I've liked what few I have seen. He seems to be a easy speaking person.

I agree 100%.

Crocop, and Fedor are the ideal role model MMA fighters.

Great warriors, who have heart, skills, and put on a great show.

Then, they are also humble as hell. Shaking hands, no trash talking, and definetly not bragging.

And ideal role model, that we dont see in most NFL, NBA ect..

Rodrigo Nogueira and some others also fit into this category. People need to remember that last time they fought Nog beat Cro Cop. I still think Nog desreves just as much or at least close to as much respect as CC gets.

I just love that Fedor and Crocop are 1 and 2 in the world by a distance (and this is coming from a Josh Barnett fan) and they are probably the two most humble guys in the sport. Look at UFC guys like Tim Sylvia and Brandon Vera who are good fighters, but their egos dwarf the empire state building.

Reading interviews with Crocop and Fedor makes it impossible to hate them. Crocop is a politically intelligent, articulate guy, and he's humble. Fedor doesn't talk much, but he never says that he's better than anybody, just that he'd like to fight these people (even though he's way better than anyone else in the sport)

These guys are great athletes because they are capable of being the best at what they do without being egocentric pains. Not like other sports. I don't see how anyone can dislike them.
