Riggs out of Diaz fight
Joe Riggs has pulled out of his fight with Nick Diaz after suffering a bad reaction to an as of yet undisclosed drug. According to sources close to the fighter, Riggs will be recovering in the hospital for the next couple of weeks and therefore unable to fight Diaz. At this time it is unclear if Riggs' problem is physical or mental.
Nick Diaz however, will still be fighting on the card and it is expected that Strikeforce will be announcing Diaz's new opponent in the next couple of days.

rumor has it baroni will pick up the fight, but thats a UG rumor so take it with a grain of salt.
Either way, that's lame. I wanted to see Diaz avenge this loss.

Damn, I wanted to see that fight. I hope Riggs is alright though.
Baroni sounds ok, but I don't see him winning this fight.

They shouldn't let Baroni step anywhere near a title fight. They need Kennedy or Thompson to step in. Hell bring over Shinya from Japan, that would be exciting.

Baroni doesnt deserve that fight. He needs to win to get that spot. Thats the problem with strikeforce, theres noone to fight.

No interest in seeing baroni in thsi match unless there is absolutely no one else who will take it. +1 to the Shinya Akoi idea, that would be epic!

What the hell is going on? All of these great match-ups are getting cancelled. First Overeem-Werdum, then Fedor-Barnett, then St. Legkicker, then Riggs-Diaz.
This may go down as the worst week in MMA history...
