Probably I mean, didn't Dana say something like "Any fighter who decides to appear in EA's MMA game will be barred from fighting in the UFC." And I havn't heard any news on weather this applies to Fedor aswell, but I doubt Dana will make an exception

Dana is an idiot if he decides not to pursue fedor over a VIDEO GAME....besides this game being made by ea will probably make it better than the UFC game...which i also happen to like but just pointing it out that ea has a really good rep with sports games. hopefully my boy nick diaz is in this sh*t!!!

But with no UFC fighters I doubt it will be as big of a success. And yeah Nick Diaz will probably be featured. I think the games is going to be based on Strikeforce fighters though.

Dana made an exception for Randy..well sort of. he signed the contract with EA before Dana placed his ban on fighters appearing in the game. I doubt this will keep Fedor out of the UFC, though. It's co-promoting with M1 Global that will.

How come in this article from ign it says

"Fedor Emelianenko, a 6'0", 231 pound Russian heavyweight mixed martial arts fighter, who excels in Sambo and Judo, holds a 30-1 record and is the current WAMMA Heavyweight champion. Prior to signing on with STRIKEFORCE, Emelianenko defended his WAMMA championship by knocking out former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski."

Did he sign with Strikeforce?

I think that was a misprint or something...he is still in negotiations with the UFC and a lot of ppl are associating this game with JUST strikeforce fighters right now...but that isnt really the case.

I think, fedor is the best fighter ever so the decision is just smart...the business allways knows, how to make money, and the popularity polls must have been done...

Dana White made it clear that he would boycott MOST fighters not all, also stating that obviously he will make exceptions for some fighters. Dana White is also a lying about EA MMA, cause Randy Couture being allowed in the game was part of Couture's new contract.
