So whose going to chase fedor down to strikeforce?
lets face it....now that fedors in strikeforce officially he's more accessible than ever. You cant help but think fedor is a marked man now. I wouldnt be suprised if some ufc fighters jump ship to sf just to hunt fedor down and try to make a quick name for themselfs.
After all buster douglas's name is drilled into my psyche because he did the unthinkable and koed tyson. This could be the catalyst that turns strikeforce from a thorn in dana's side to a full blown crisis. Yeah i know fedor cant go on for ever but if he can remain undefeated for 5-6 more fights strikeforce will most certainly benefit

Well, I hope he will beat Rogers, Overeem, Monson and Barnett. If Strikeforces manages to organize these fights and co-promote, I'll be glad.

monson i rated quite highly untill timmah stopped every single one of his takedowns. A fight that even now i think is an unbelievable performance.

Heavyweight Fights
I can see Fedor fighting Rogers, Werdum, Overeem and maybe Monson. Unless Strikeforce holds an event outside California and another state commission decides to give Barnett a liscence, I don't think that fight is happening in a state comission state!

Monson is definatly going to be trying to get into Strikeforce with him losing his Visa he only has the option of fighting in the States and considering how much hehas tried to get this fight it only makes sense.

Didn't work last time
The last time Couture tried to jump ship before his contract was up he got in a long despute with the UFC that ended in him returning to the UFC anyways! If he does sign with Strikeforce he needs to finish his contract and not sign with the UFC again!

Couture was Champion then though and UFC didnt want there champ jumping ship and going and losing to Fedor. I dont think it would be a big deal if Couture finished his UFC contract and then went and got his ass kicked by Fedor before he retires.
They are saying they want to build up a Fedor Overeem match now by having them face some opponents first, probably Werdum and Rogers. I see Fedor walking through all 3 of them, actually give the best shot to Rogers cause of his first round KO record.

Nar that would be a massive deal.Dana wouldn't let any of his fighters support another organization. He will legally claw for couture's contract because even if he doesn't see couture doing anything substantial in the ufc or doesn't think he's that valuable of an asset, giving him to strikeforce would help them sell ppv's and UFC business model is all about being ruthless

I said after his contract is over he would probably go. I guess thats not really jumping ship then, but I definetly think he will try it. he really wants to fight Fedor.
