Did you see the Mercer fight? Sylvia came in looking like an out of shape blob and got destroyed in seconds by a guy who had never had a pro MMA fight before and his only amateur bout was a loss to Kimbo. Sylvia will never be on top again, I hope he can get his ass in shape and at least pick up some wins again but I really think there is more likely more to this and he will be Ricco Rodriguez #2

i think that now fighters like Monson or Sergei Carintnov or even Ricco Rodriguez would beat him...

he was not training good i suppouse he earned big money in Affliction and this money destroyed him...800000 dollars
he had never that money in UFC...

he has not been able to be the same hard working fighter that beated good fighters...

Tim isn't done by a long shot. He still puts fear in the hearts of many, mostly buffet owners but he could make a come back.

We shall see after his coming fight.

People are putting to much stock into the Mercer fight. The fact is if any mma HW had decided to stand and trade punches with Mercer it would have ended with them counting the ceiling lights. An elite level boxer, even an older one like Mercer, still has stand up that light years ahead of any mma fighter.

It puts him no where. Styles make fights. Your not actually trying to argue that kimbo is now a better fighter then Sylvia because he beat Mercer and Sylvia didn't are you?

Thats all fine and dandy if Sylvia showed up like normal and got caught but he showed up looking like the Michelin man and lumbered over and got clocked by the first punch.
