Overeem wants out of Strikeforce

"It hasn't escaped my notice that we are dealing with a bunch of crooks who wish to brand their name onto someone who has managed to build up a successful organization on his own with a good network deal"

"Our deal with strikeforce was made before this bunch of robbers came along, but now we were planning on asking our money in advance. In fact, I see this as the ideal opportunity to say no to the contract that was signed earlier, we don't want to fight on any M-mini Cons & co promotions."

"Is this the organization who let Thommy Depret fly to America for nothing without having the decency to phone him to let him know it was cancelled?"

"I wonder what happens if fedor loses a couple of times, or can't fight due to circumstances, to all those enforced `Co-Promotions` that do not benefit the fighters in any way"
So that's Fabricio Werdum basically after Rogers for Fedor?

Pretty interesting, I'd love to see him move to the UFC. I think he'd easily clean out the mid-tier and then give the higher-tier seriously trouble. I can definitely see his submission game beating most heavyweights, and let's not forget what he did to CroCop standing.

If UFC got Werdum and Overeem, Fedor would definitely finish up his 3 fight contract and move to the UFC.

Why would ufc want Werdum? I admit I don't know what was the exact reason Werdum got fired, but Im assuming it was his bad performance (after Pride) combined with relatively expensive contract. If UFC actually wanted to keep him they could have done it, but Werdum was prolly asking for too much or ufc simply didn't want to keep him at all.

What has he done after UFC to convince them he is worth re-signing? Choked out some random guy with no ground game, that must be a hard task for a 2nd degree black belt vs. a guy who should be fighting at LHW instead of HW. Even Strikeforce doesn't see the need to pay him as much as he used to get in ufc (80k to show vs. Arlovski, he got 25k+25k from Mike Kyle fight).

Please do sign Overeem though, UFC needs more "real" heavyweights already. Overeem vs. Mir,Overeem vs. Nog and Overeem vs. Kongo are 3 fights I would definetily want to see.
