Agreed. Totally. This would be a joke, I don't understand how anyone could think Shields even has a chance. His standup is crap, and Henderson is bigger, stronger, and has the wrestling background. Big strong wrestlers are the perfect foil for jitz guys. Sheilds couldn't control guys a lot smaller and weaker than Henderson, but he's going to lay n pray Henderson enough to get a decision or sub him? Not a chance in hell. I wouldn't even watch this fight it would be such a foregone conclusion. If you are a Hendo fan, you could watch it, if not, don't bother.

How cool would it be for Hendo to KO Sheilds in UFC 100 fashion. Then in the after fight say's he want's Mousasi!

Man I can't wait for that fight it will happen.

But Shields has way better wrestling than Palhares, I'd still pick Hendo if this fight were to happen but i wouldn't count Shields out, he would only be a slight underdog in my mind.

I think this is an easy fight for hendo. I hope by tko/KO, but he'd prob win a landslide decision.

I am very excited for Hendo and Mousasi. Here is a question. Do you think if Hendo loses to Shields, that they would let him fight Mousasi.

I am not saying that Hendo will lose by any means, just speculating.

Well Dan is in the twilight of his career and Shields is at his prime. This is a title match so if Hendo doesn't put Shields away before the 4th I give this to the defending champ.

Your def right my thinking there is Danny roman will kinda cancel some of the wrestling out, however I would mostly like to see Danny press him against the cage in the clinch and dirty box the hell outta Shields....

on the Ground, not clear cut but if Shield's can display his lay n'ghey then he will get it on points.

Would be a very interesting fight though.

Think in a figh with Mousasi, Mousasi would win hands down.
Shields won 8 of last 9 by finish, wins Mayhem, Lawler, Daley, Thompson, Okami, Sakurai, Verissimo, Condit etc.
According to reports Shields sent several texts to Strikeforce asking for this fight.
Just last week his manager said he was thinking about bringing Shields back to WW because he had been working to gain weight since May and he stalled at 190, and then slid back to 187lbs.
Hendo is one of the GREATS and this will be a hard fight for Shields, not only is Henderson good, but he is a BIG MW and likes to fight at LHW. I am a Hendo fan.
But,as a Shields fan props for stepping.
