He's been finishing alot of his recent fights in the first or second round.

"lay n' ghey" doesn't fit his behavior pattern atm.

I see this fight similar to the Pallhares fight, although Shields does have wrestling its not like Danny doesnt. i mean imo they should change the title of this thread to "Shield open to losing his belt to Dan" lets be honest guys at the end of the day if your betting cold cash...it's gonna be on Hendo, Shields really only big wins were against Okami Miller and Lawler.....not exactly the same level as Danny and that Roman Grecko.....

I would bet Danny all day on this fight and feel good about it....

Hell, I felt good about puttin 500K on Kimbo last week and now Houston is out the UFC and Kimbo got me paid lovely......

Hendo....

I have to go with Hendo. It would be hard to see Shields submitted or KOd, but hopefully it'll be a good fight and not a total ****, kwim?

Unhappy Results

I would have to go with Henderson on this one and I think he would finish Shields. This is just a matter of size, strength and skill outweigh the smaller guy with about the same but to a lower degree. It's too bad to cause I like both of these fighters...

Dan Henderson has an amazing ground game and he is a Good striker.... How can anyone give this to shields? Who has shields beat that Dan Hendo couldn't... NO ONE I mean think about it Hendo beat guys with a better ground game then Jake Shields... He beat Renzo Gracy on the ground and beat Big Nog, and had wins over Vitor Belfort the next in line for Anderson Silva (maybe) Wanderlei Silva, Rich Flanklin, and now Micheal Bisping, No way Jake Shields has half a record. And Hendo had one of the closest rounds to beating Anderson that ive seen other then Travis Luter. Dan Hendo will beat Gregard if he fights in LW first, or Jake Shields EASY Victory, Gregard will be his hardest fight other then Fedor in Strike Force other then those 2 its a BREEZE Hendo will have 2 belts AGAIN in Strike Force. And if its true what they say that u come back stronger from your loses, try loses to Anderson Silva, Rampage (at his peak) and Big Nog twice, he has the experience and skills to sweep Strike Force belts, Fedor would be the only REAL big nail bitter

Lightbulb Henderson's Ground Game

Yeah, Henderson has a pretty good ground game and only a good jui-jutsu practitioner will beat him, not a welterweight who is fighting at a weight above him.

Not true at all...

He broke off Sakurai, Carlos Condit and Paul Daley as well.

But this discussion comes as no surprise to me at all. Jake Shields is always the underdog going into a big fight.

Well I would be willing to place a wager J.P. if you are that confident in Shileds, imo, he has not faced a real top tier guy in his last few fights and sucks Diaz in essence....he will lose to Hendo...imho.....and I am open to Wager!!!!

EDIT: Condit and Daley really dont add up to much for me.....
