i would be SHOCKED if m1 allowed mousasi to face Henderson so soon. I think Dan will fight at MW and be kept away from him jmo after Fedor he is there only tangible asset and i think they want a bigger build up before he faces a big name in America and a potentially very tough fight. If m1 grows a pair and allows him to fight Hendo now i will eat some crow.

Allow him to fight hendo? or allow hendo to fight him? Mousasi deserves the best, hes proved that. And yes although hendo has proved himself in dream and UFC he is fresh in SF.
Giving him a shot at Jake Shields right away would be unfair to people who deserve the shot. Just feed him to Mousasi and let Gegard destroy his ass.

seriously almost 30 fights and who has he fought at LHW?? Babalu and Sokky?? M1 protects its fighters from the really tough fights imo and again i will gladly eat crow if this make this fight happen ASAP but i bet Dan will fight other ppl 1st and perhaps be the MW champion and never face Gegard.
I really hope the ppl at strikefarce push for it immediately but by the looks of how they allow complete co promotion on their biggest events and a silly Fedor/Gegard same night must, i really doubt they are in the position of power, esp since M1 can just easily have both Fedor and Gegard fight elsewhere for good $ as much as they want just like Overeem is doing. |

Where did you read that? I doubt he's getting cleared anytime soon, if at all.
If the fight happens, everything is pointing towards Dream so far.

I guess thats why Mousasi was set to face Babalu (top 10 LHW) for his 1st SF bout, his 1st fight in the US and (if I'm correct) his 1st fight ever in a cage? |

I would bet a lot of money that SF won't let Mousasi fight Hendo that early. I mean he has a 4 fight contract, there is enough time for this fight. It would give them a lot more viewers, if Hendo already holds the MW titel from Jake Shields. And it would hype the fight even more!
The best thing would be his frist fight for the titel against Shields. Second fight against a top contender. Third moveing up to LHW and face a top contender, then get Mousasi for the belt

Dan is an animal. But he won't be taking Jakes belt. Shields will either control and outpoint or submit Dan.

Oh you sound confident 
I dont think Shileds can really beat such a tough guy like Hendo. His submission game showed a lot of weakness (or let's say i wasn't really impressed) in his last fight against Miller. And overall i wasn't really impressed with his ground game either and in a Standup war i pick Hendo every day

Georges St. Pierre couldn't finish Miller on the ground either.
Alot of people are expecting Dan to steamroll Jake here. However Dan Henderson has shown a weakness where Jake excels at and that is in the submission game. Almost half of Dans losses have come by way of submission.
Jake is alot stronger than he looks and he's able to overwhelm alot of his opponents with his ground game. I think he'll come in an underdog and leave a winner here.
They really should choose a different opponent for Dan if they're trying to hype up a Mousasi fight.
Jake Shields isn't a warm up fight lol.

Only time ive EVER seen Dan Henderson get submitted was after he took a beating, i never seen him fresh and get straight submitted, i think his ground game Defense is atleast AS good as MIller and Shields couldn't finish Miller, Dan is the top greco wrestler out there he will do FINE with Jake no stand up game Shields. Wouldnt that be cool if Dan Henderson was the first to hold 3! Belts at the same time! KO Shields, small build up then takes out Mousasi, small build up now the champ with 2 belts Hendo vs Fedor super fight! Oh im good! lol
