I think of guys like Silva, GSP, Aoki, Rampage & of course The Last Emperor when it comes to total destruction of their opponents.

well if you mean power, i gotta agree with most of what you said, you could add leben, henderson, thiago silva and some other guys like that.

but if you mean like best hands as in speed and skill thats a little different but i would definitely put lyoto machida in there, as much as im not a fan of his he has some amazing speed and counter punching ability as well as accuracy. Also put BJ in there of course

Carwin is without a doubt the hardest hitter out there. That KO of Gonzaga came from not even a foot away, and Gonzaga CRUMPLED.

I think BJ is the best P4P striker, Carwin hits really hard but if we are talking about P4P just think what a 6 foot 4 265 pound BJ Penn would be like.

Technique + Speed + power = Vitor
Penn would prolly hit as hard as Vitor at MW, but Vitor's boxing and hand speed is better than Penn's.

Penn would prolly win this if the formula we used was just a simple "<punching power>:<weight>". Then again so many things affect actual knock out that you can't just measure pure punching power on it.
I wouldn't mind seeing actual numbers taken by a good Punching speed & power measurement program from all the top 10 guys of each division even though that doesn't take technique and accuracy into account.
