Wanderlei Silva -155
Michael Bisping +125
So in this fight Wandy is favored to win that why he is in the minus. Bisping is in the plus because he is the underdog.
So in this case if you bet $10 on ethier or you would get. If you bet on wandy and he won you would get $6.45 profit (for a $16.45 total with your bet) and if you bet on Bisping you could win $12.50 (for a total of 22.50)
From what I understand just even would just be 0? Then I think? So if it was 0 (not sure if that's possible) you would double your money if you bet. If you bet $10 you would win $10 and get $20 back ($10 you bet + $10 you won)
So ya im new to all this too I would reccomend using the Vbookie right here on MMAF it's a great way to practice.
To answer your question, when something is "0", the house usually makes the bet a -105, so it still take something off the top.
Also, I've seen plenty of times where a large favorite gets tagged. It's better to do what you did, betting only a nominal sum on the vast underdog, than to put large amounts on the "sure bet."
$20 to win $3 is a terrible wager. Hope it works out, but I'd rather risk $5 on Sims to take $35.
With the way upsets occur in MMA, it is always better to play "low risk high reward" or "high risk high reward." High risk low reward is a loser's bet 99% of the time.
