LOL @ struggling against Amir though.
Amir would own him Stokes believe me^^

No but Hendo will show the world that this guy should not wear a belt around his waists Not yet!
He is still young, so if he keeps working on his stand up then he might get there someday. With the exception that GSP leaves the WW devision of course^^

Dude, Shields is fighting at MW, when he should be at WW and everyone knows it. I am with everyone else I think that Hendo will prolly win this fight..but the thing is Hendo is a MUCH MUCH bigger dude, its the same as the GSP/Penn fights, do I think Hendo is a better fighter? No, but his size will give him a huge advantage in this. I dont think GSP is a better fighter than BJ Penn either but his size carries him through.

Jake Shields would beat 85 percent of the fighters in the WW division of the UFC. Only problems I see him having are good grapplers like Fitch, KOS, and GSP. Other than that I think he could win any of the other fights

HE already BEAT Paul Daley. He has beaten Mayhem Miller, which is very impressive mayhem is a sick dude with tons of skills. It has been proven hard to finish Shields, so I see that carrying over. He will only get better, so by the time he gets to the UFC watch out.

Yea thats what I meant Stokes
he would get a lot of trouble with Kosh, Fitch (and you need to include the second best WW right now Alves) it's a very very tight devision.

He is only fighting at MW right now because it's the weakest devision of all at SF. For example if Shields would fight in the WW devision from SF he would not be the titel holder! He won't beat Nick.

Mayhem Miller nearly beat him at his own game the submission! Shields didn't impressed me at all in this fight. Daley was tough one as well for him, but Daley should be a lot better on the ground today.

He wont beat Nick, and he wont FIGHT Nick. They are from the same camp and have already stated numerous times that they wont fight each other. The only thing keeping him out of the WW division is Nick, not the fact that he believes MW is an easier ride. Thats non sense.

...Best of luck Jake!! Hendo--- never been KO'd. Only been submitted 3 times (Both Nog brothers & Anderson). Has a stone head & iron chin. Has nasty KO power in both hands, (mostly his big right) and is an Olympic caliber Greco wrestler. The only way I see Dan losing this is if he makes a serious mistake like Lawler did. Shield's chances are mighty slim, but I said the same thing when he fought Lawler. You can't make a mistake with Shield's top notch Jiu Jitsu...

I know Stokes I am just saying it as an example, because he won't get past Nick Diaz. Just if they weren't friends he won't be able to beat him.
And it's fact that the MW devision is one of there weakest at all.

I'm picking Jake to win this.

Hendo is bigger and stronger.

Jake is an intelligent fighter with extreme technique.

I think Jake is going to shock alot of people here.

And lol @ people who say Jake wouldn't be a top 5er at WW in the UFC.........

Victories over..

Yushin Okami
Paul Daley
Hayato Sakurai
Jason Miller
Carlos Condit
Robbie Lawler

He'd clean that division out until he reached GSP.

Alves...the guy with no ground game... That fight would go like the Daley fight did.

Fitch, Kos.....just like the Miller fight. Jake having a bit of a psychological advantage over Fitch in that one since he's defeated Fitch in a BJJ tournament.

And for people who were "dissapointed" in his performance against Jason Miller keep in mind that Jason Miller has also fought Jacare Souza and GSP.....and neither of those guys could finish Miller either.

People have never given this guy his due.

So sloppy hands Hendo is going to KO Shields when Daley never even came close? Daley is one of the best strikers around and he's got unreal power. Except that he got subbed in the second round without inflicting any real damage.

At least a few people get the idea. I was trying to say this the whole time and nobody listened.
