Didn't the fights remind you of he old style vs style matchups. Moussasi looked like he had no ground game. I understand that Lawal is a great wrestler, but he was handing Moussassi the triangle. Lawal's performance was a little Severnesque wrestling and causing no damage and getting gassed in the first round. Then Aoki was a guy with absolutely no standup, and butt scooting like Royce Gracie. Then Shields just simply can't punch. It's MIXED martial arts people, being good at one thing ain't gonna cut it anymore.

I thought it was a terrible event. The Mo-Mousasi fight was terrible, 2 guys with amatuer gas tanks. Mo has great wrestling, but he worked very little to even get them. Mousasi put up as much fight as a McD's worker, he basically just let him get take downs many times. The Aoki-Melendez fight was pretty one sided. Aoki has no business being ranked so high. He is as one dimensional as it gets. The Shields-Hendo fight was a good fight in my opinion. Shields turned the tables after almost getting finished. Overall for an organization that puts out a main card every 3 months or so, this was pretty bad. Doesn't leave many casual fans with the idea that they will definatly catch the next one on CBS.

The best fighter of the night...Shields, won't be with them much longer. Hard to see where their next #1 contenders come from.
