Round 1: Yves clips Campbell with a short left hand early, Campbell answers with a stiff kick to the ribs. The pair trade leg kicks and tentative punches for the bulk of the round, until Campbell dumps Edwards with a takedown with 90 seconds left. Yves works a kimura briefly to get loose and back to his feet. Nice knee from Edwards, and Campbell has a trickle of blood coming from just beside his right eye. 10-9 Campbell.

Round 2: Both men hit the mat early, and Edwards jumps on Campbell's back. Quickly sinking both hooks in, Edwards now tries to free his hands for the rear-naked choke, but Campbell defends ably and flips over into guard. They pop back up and Edwards slams Campbell back down to the mat in brutal fashion with a "Rock Bottom." Campbell looks dazed momentarily as Edwards jumps on his back, but again he escapes the veteran's thug-jitsu. Back to the feet, Campbell begins lighting Edwards up, switching up punches to the face and body. They clinch against the fence and Edwards knees Campbell in the thigh from behind. 10-9 Edwards.

Round 3: Campbell ducks a flashy roundhouse from Edwards and the crowd "oohs." Edwards backs Campbell into the fence and lunges in with a knee, which Campbell narrowly avoids. Campbell botches a takedown and Edwards momentarily takes his back, but both men are too sweaty and Campbell quickly reverses into guard. One minute left. Couple glancing knees from Edwards and Campbell dives for a leg. Edwards sprawls well and maintains balance as Campbell pushes him to the fence. Edwards with one last, late takedown. 10-9 Edwards.
