run 6 mile 3 times a week. you'll lose tonnes of weight. Doesnt matter how fast you go either as it's a fat burner.

I did mine at Jits as well, just one of those things. I must not have stretched properly.

it's really hard work for the first 2 weeks but after that it's a breeze. when i was boxing i ran 6 miles twice a week doing 7.5 minute miles then i'd run 3 miles once a week as fast as i could...usually about 6.5 minute miles.

it gets rid of all the excess weight while also improving your cardio to rediculous levels.

Me, 44 years old, training at a mma gym for two years now 3-5 times/week. Have always loved this stuff. No desire to compete. Showing up is winning my battle LOl !! Just want to get as technically proficient as possible. Love light sparring. Can't take a hard shot to the head worth crap.

Good luck on your fight G_Land

I trained boxing for a little over a year. Now I train at American Top Team and am doing Submission Grappling, BJJ, and Muay Thai. I haven't been training much over the last month because of a knee injury though but I think I will be able to get back in there and continue getting myself beat up soon!

I train MMA as part of a continued crosstraining program that includes running, judo, and karate. (shotokan and goshinjitsu0

I'm too old to ever fight, but I would like to be a worthy sparring partner for the one woman that fights out of my gym.
