45 greatest upsets in mma history

What do you think? I thought Couture vs Sylvia should have been higher, but still a really good list.

I thought there were quite a few that I didn't consider upsets. I realize he had to stretch to get 45 we would recognize but, about half way through I thought to myself, these aren't upsets they're fights.

One beautiful one he missed (or did I?) was Sakuraba/Conan Silvera at UFC Japan. Saku was totally unknown (outside of Japan) and looked like a school boy. Conan was Brazilian, champ of xyz fighting, and looked like ....Conan.

Also, While Serra/GSP was the most exciting one to me at the time, I think it's an insult to Matt to call it #1 ever. Matt hits HAAAHD and has the most under rated/ under used BJJ in the game.

Fun to read at 4am ...thanks

edit: That is a BADASS pic of pete Spratt kicking Robby Lawlor.

What happened to the good old "top ten"? Yesterday it was the top 30 UFC personalities to follow in Twitter and now this. What's next, the 50 greatest welterweights in UFC history?

Btw thanks for the post Rocky, I'm not criticizing, just an observation.

Matt Serra's victory will remain as the number one for years and years now. 45 is a bit much, not that i'm complaining. The more the merrier.

I believe Forrest Griffin/Shogun should be ahead of Sokoudjou/Noguiera, but other than that, it's all good.

It probably would have been if Griffin had not won the title in his next fight.

Pretty good list, but 45 seemed a little much.
