im thinking alvarez just based on the fact that the only fight roger's had in months was outside a bar, all in all its going to be a heck of a fight i dont think ive ever been bored watching a fight with huerta in it. win or lose that dude makes sure it exciting

But a true champion, face to face with his darkest hour, will do whatever it takes to rise above. A man fights, and fights, and then fights some more. Because surrender is death, and death is for pussies- kenny powers

Alvarez is going to roll over Huerta. TKO2 just because I think Huerta's resilience with allow him to escape the 1st.

I think Alvarez will be too much for Huerta. He'll pick him apart on the feet, stuff the takedown when it comes and get a UD win.

Huerta's got a great chin and will be extremely tough to finish, and I'll be rooting for him also.

Alvarez will take it, but it won't be a pushover.

Huerta has an infinite mana pool, and is no easy fight.

I am actually going with Huerta. I question his comitment level but Huerta is well rounded and has faced better strikers than Alvarez and not been knocked out, he has also fought better wrestlers. But the biggest thing for me is training partners, who has guys that can emulate there opponent and Huerta has a huge advantage training with Clay Guida, Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson. All three of those guys IMO are great sparring partners heading into a fight with Alvarez. Even Guilliard is most likely a far better fighter than the guys Alvarez is training with. (I am not familiar with anyone he trains with and at this stage in the game that is not good enough to elevate him.)

These are my two favorite lightweights in the world bar none... I would cheer for them against any current UFC LW. So this fight, while exciting for me, is also a little heartbraking. I personally would put money on Eddie if given no other choice, but my vote on here and my fanfare is going to very slightly favor Roger. My hope, as with a lot of fights lately, is that both fighters come out looking like champions further cementing their legacies.

Alvarez will be the one shooting for takedowns.

No chance in hell I can cheer against Huerta now.

As for who will win, I have no idea...possible FOTY here.
