It doesn't make sense to me, these guys make so much money but in reality they would get their asses beat by a k-1 champ or an mma champ. Why do they make so much freaking money man, its not fair to those guys in k-1 or mma who train just as hard or harder and are actually forced to fight with scarier rules than boxing. At a high level in boxing it becomes a game, mayweathers fights look like basic sparring and he gets away clean because he doesnt want to fight , why should he get payed all that money for not fighting.

Because boxing has been established and has been mainstream for decades, MMA has not.

I'm sure in 30-40 years MMA fighters will probably make the same figures.

why is that , do people find boxing more entertaining? I guess back in the days there were better fights and fighters in boxing so it was alot more entertaining, now that k-1 and mma are here its going to change the combat sports world. You said mma , you didnt mention, k-1, why? I find that K-1 has the best stand up fighters around, that level of striking is amazing.

There just hasn't been that same appeal for Kickboxing as Boxing, I'm not really sure why...

Maybe it's because Boxing was considered a gentlemans event and had superior marketing?

I say gentlemans event because I always see people dressed up really really nice at boxing events. lol.

I guess people arent very realistic, boxers can fight but in reality a kickboxer would hurt a boxer with the mix of his hands in feet. And it is exciting, K-1 is freakin awesome, high flying kicks and knees with punches, you get the total stand up action. Muay thai is even crazier , its so unfair, those little thai kids fight for peanuts to elbow each other in the face and knee each other in the face without padding.

definitely, the majority of people that watch and follow golf are filthy rich. And the sport isnt entertaining but tiger woods makes alot of money , I think the guy is ranked number one for richest "athlete". Whatever the rich want will happen, I guess that's the way it goes, if it werent for the internet, mma wouldn't be in the U.S. , the rich did that to themselves, SUCKERS.
