That makes Jimmy Conway's Lufthansa Heist look like peanuts.
Yea no shit, I wonder how much Lee was actually involved in this heist. I heard they got caught in Morocco cuz his neighbor's called the cops saying there were a "bunch of homos" living next door in the mansion (Lee and his friends), so the cops came to investigate and nabbed them for the heist. I also heard Lee could get up to life in prison if he is convicted. Don't know how accurate that is but the story of how he got caught is true I read an actual article about it. They got busted cuz people in Morocco thought they were a house full of homos lmao

Murray was arrested in Morocco on suspicion of cocaine smuggling. He was caught in a shopping centre in Rabat. This is after his implication in the heist.

Seemingly his mansion had a huge mural of him as a UFC champ.

His underworld connections were well publicised in the UK press after his stabbing and eventually he was linked with the Brinks Mat robbery

He was certainly a good fighter in his day and would have been a contender in the UFC. Think his criminl record stopped him getting into the states regularly though.

Maybe my post was a bit too much, but I still need to reitterate what I think was missing from that post - We dont need people like that in our sport. He is a horrible human being. He doesnt look intimidating, nor does he sound it. Maybe he acts a bit crazy, but it doesnt make him a badass. It makes him a criminal, who deserves no part of an honorable sport such as MMA. I hope he gets convicted.

[FONT="Times New Roman"]Point taken.

But keep in mind that great athletes aren't always great people. Every sport has criminals, that's no secret. It's just the same as every sport has athletes that b*tch about their poor performances and make excuses and every sport has athletes that do steroids.

In the same way, every sport has great athletes that are great people.

You're right, though. He is a criminal, and he should go to jail.

So should OJ (don't get me started), but MMA isn't quite as big as football yet./FONT]

i hope he gets convicted, but only if the facts back it up. what he did was wrong, and he is a criminal. but none of that effects his mma fights. he was a great fighter and deserves to be thought of as that. outside mma, he's a jerk. but we have to remember its 2 seperate things.

They could, but I see the chances of that being... pretty close to 0.

Imagine Bruce Buffer saying: "The IS UFC FIGHT NIGHT. LIVE FROM SAN QUENTIN PENITENTIARY IN MARIN, CALIFORNIA!"
