How many times did you rewind the match on your TVO to get this broken down so detailed?

I pause it every time anything landed I felt worth scoring, documented the action and then resumed watching till the next action.

Yea I watched the entire event all the way through the first time round, I just went back and watched this fight again to score it, since I saw that there was some people who felt the decision was bogus, I figured I would go over the entire fight and find out the truth about who should of won.

When I watched it the first time, I felt then also the decision was correct, I had it 29/28 Daley then also, this just confirmed it for me.

There was definitely a number of people who thought Jorge won. I was not one of them. I *wish* Jorge would have won, because I'm not a particularly big fan of Dailey, however it seemed clear to me that Dailey won. I thought the second round could have gone either way, but I didnt think the 1st or 3rd were anywhere close to going Masvidals way, as Dailey was clearly the bigger aggressor, landed more strikes, and did more overall damage.

I think everyone who thought Masvidal won, simply thought so because of the takedowns, which I was totally against simply because Jorge did NOTHING with them. Too many people are way too used to the takedown centric scoring of the UFC.

I'm sure even with your breakdown that those on Masvidals side will still argue he won however, lol.

So basically he did lay and pray with his takedowns?

not so much LnP, it was more the case that Daley was successful in neutralising Jorge's ability to attack from his dominant positions, and Jorge did not make any effort to improve position, nor was he able to work and cause damage. that's why every take down where Daley was not able to get up within 45 seconds of his own escapes, the ref ended up putting the fighters back on there feet.

It was good refereeing.
