Thing is Rocky he wasn't cut by the UFC because of any loss he was kicked out for the cheap shot....

Had he not done that he'd still be fighting high calibur competition to the likes of Thiago Alves and Carlos Condit who are still top 10 in the UFC....

And ultimatly who cares? People gotta stop trying to compare Strikeforce to the UFC...it's starting to sound like a paranoid reaction...

...MMAweekly stated that Fedor will be fighting either Antonio Silva or Josh Barnett...

...The reason I said they are gaining steam is that they are signing fighters that fans wanna see fight. Win or lose Hendo is still very popular and people want to see him fight. Daley has awesome stand-up. He will do pretty well...

Wonder if they will give Masdival another crack at them since the decision was somewhat controversial.

I think SF wanted Masvidal to fight at LW now... But of course, anything can be done in the future

I'd love to see Coker put together a fight with Masvidal and Kawajiri...

Lots of great fights for Masvidal at LW, he was a small WW anyways

Could you put a source on that? I would like to see Fedor Barnett, but if I was Strikeforce I wouldn't put Barnett at the top of the card. There's too much of a risk. I don't think Hendo is that big of a draw either. The Daley signing is descent. He is a good striker. A fight with Diaz almost guarantees someone is going to do something stupid. This is the problems you have when you take guys who are let go for reasons other than fighting.

Yeah, I think Barnett needs to get a warm-up match before he fights someone big. As for Daley his match with Diaz would definately be good. Finally I think the Bigfoot versus Fedor match would be good but wouldn't last long!

...Good post. There are plenty of legit prospects for a Barnett warm-up fight. I also agree that the Silva-Fedor fight won't go the distance. Fedor's speed, cardio and agility is much superior than Silva's. I just can't wait to see the greatest HW ever back in action. I have this strong feeling that Fedor's return fight will be an impressive one with the MMA world saying...WOW!
