There definitely is potential. He seems like a humble, laid back person. That hasn't stopped him from finishing all of his fight within the first round though.

Granted he isn't as cut as he could be, but that doesn't mean that he isn't ready for top competition. Though I do agree he needs some more matches under his belt before he gets a shot at a top dog. But considering the growth of the heavyweight division I think he will have some good pickings when it comes to good matches!
Great wrestler with tons of potential, but too short for HW. He won't come near a title unless he gets on a diet and drops to LHW.

He trains at AKA with the guy i deem to be the best HW in the world. Thats gotta help tons. His wrestling is already top notch, he needs to add striking and transitions to his game.
Is there any better HW to learn that from than Cain?? A guy from a wrestling background himself. Good trade off right now, Cormier brings in olympic calibre wrestlers for Cain, Cain helps Cormier on his standup and everything non wrestling related in MMA.
Look for Cormier to do some big things in the future.
