Doc Hamilton on "half-point system"

I figured a few of you might find this video clip fairly interesting. It's a ref named Doc Hamilton talking about the benefits of a half point judging system as opposed to the 10 point system we currently use. Also other people give pros and cons on this system.

Click on the second video, (some old dude in a blue shirt) and there are two parts to this clip.

Instead of using half-points, simply broaden the criteria for what constitutes a 10-8 round, a 10-7 round, etc.

For example, how would you score this round?

I'd score it 10-0!

It you score it a 10-0 then the other fighter has pritty much won the whole fight in that one round. If the fat guy did start winning the stand up in round 2 and 3 but it was some what close so the score was only say 10-8or even 6 he couldnt win!

That video is hilarious, I'd give the fat dude at least 5 points just for that little roll/creative half guard pull
