Shields was at the end of his contract also, I believe he only had 1 fight left on his contract when he appeared on TUF. The assistant coaches and training partners that the coaches bring in to help with training can be anybody. I'va always wondered if the assistant coaches that the coaches bring in, wonder if they get paid anything to go to the TUF house and help train these fighters.

I'll have to watch a little more, but if they keep mentioning his name, then I'm guessing he's jumping ship.

They never mentioned his name.

Not even when Josh was introducing his coaching staff. You had to know his face to even know he was there.. and the camera gave him no time at all. He kept getting spanned out and swept past.

Actually, that was the only time they mentioned him. Josh introduced his coaching stuff and they showed Cormier as well. I think he was pummeling with somebody, don't remember.

Really? Damn I missed that quote. I'm glad he did get his name mentioned, he's accomplished far too much not to be acknowledged as a competent member of a coaching staff.
