Top 5 fighters LW to HW
LW
Frankie Edgar
Shinya Aoki
Gilbert Melendaz
Gray Maynard
Eddie Alveraz
sidenotes: You had your chance BJ and I guess it time to pass the torch eh? Also there are more non-Zuffa fighter than Zuffa fighters. DEAL WITH IT
WW
GSP
Jon Fitch
Jake Shields
Josh Koshcheck
Nick Diaz
sidenotes: The winner of the Diaz/Noons title fight is top 3
MW
Anderson Silva
Nate Marquart
Jorge Santiago
Wanderlei Silva
Ronaldo Souza
sidenotes: Sonnen out since he wants to cheat (and still lose), Shields is out because of his move to WW and Hendo's since his next fight is at LHW.
LHW
Shogun Rua
Rashad Evans
Lyoto Machida
Rampage Jackson
Rafael Calvacante
sidenotes: Griffen is out since he hasnt beat a top five fighter since Jackson. Feijao breaks in with his title win over MO and Mousasi needs to fight him or Mo again to get into the top 5.
HW
Fabricio Werdum
Brock Lesnar
Fedor Emelianenko
Cain Velazquez
Juinor dos Santos
sidenotes: He beat the number 1 guys so therefor Werdum is the top HW in the world. (He lost to JDS, so what he got caught it doesnt mean he sucks.)

Looks pretty solid.
I'd change the fact that you have Aoki above Melendez since Melendez dominated Aoki for 15 min.
I would also keep BJ in the top 5 and nudge Alverez out. (BJ 4 Maynard 5)
Not sure Wanderlei as much as I love him should be top 5 MW, his only victory was against Bisping who's biggest win was an extremely inconsistent Kang.
Then again at the same time I'm not sure who I would put in his place, so I digress.

You do realize that he lost to him not once but twice, right?
BJ Penn nor any Zuffa champion gets any special treatment.
If Anderson, Shogun, Brock and GSP lost 2 in a row, they should be out of the top 5. Hell i bet if Machida lost to Rampage, yall will drop out of the top 5, wouldn't you?
Aoki destroyed a former Shooto champ in Kawajiri and owned a world class grappler in Maximus. Alveraz is currently on a 5 fight win streak and is about to defend his title against Huerta.

The "I won't sign with the UFC" troll thread. Not surprised by the abundance of non zuffa fighters but Werdum doesn't belong in the top 5 heavyweights. In any list.
Either do Aoki or Melendez.

So the guy the best the no. 1 HW in the world doesnt belong on the list?
Nor does the DREAM/WAMMA LW champ who as destroyed more champs then BJ?
Or Melendez who dominated Aoki, Ishida and Thomson? And is the Strikeforce LW champ?
I think we got a Zuffa zombie, folks

Yeah, Aoki shouldn't be there but one could argue for Melendez. I'm still wondering why these guys rank Werdum as number two. If Werdum by a far chance becomes the UFC heavyweight champion he should be ranked above Werdum!

I dont get why people are doggin Aoki. I mean in his past 2 fights he proved that he doesnt need the long pants. Unlike most UFC LW, he FINISHS fights (or at the very least attempts). On paper, Aoki has been more successful in MMA then Penn.
As for Werdum, he best the no.1 HW at the time, how in the hell he isnt top 5. I dont get it. He loses to JDS and he's a UFC throwaway? Get real. I mean hell, Jorge Santiago is a top 5 MW and he got KTFO BY LEBEN. LEBEN!!!!! Are people talking shit about him? No. Omigawa is on a rampage right now DESPITE his shaky start. People like yall are so quick to make fun of someones past, that their future doesnt matter. Alot of these MMA fans are fickle. I still believe KID is gonna get back to the top, I believe Mousasi is gonna be the next Fedor. Unlike most "MMA" fans, im loyal to my favorite fighters.

The number one HW in the world wore a belt that has more credibility than the wamma belt and it's from pro wrastlin. I might be a Zuffa zombie but I'm not gonna rank an inferior fighter above someone just because I dislike the organization they fight for. What is this, amateur hour?
