Well who would like to be the judge in that round, Diaz clearly started the round better and had the best of the first 3 mins, but then most of the action came in the last 2 mins where Noons had the upper hand, judge’s discretion is vital on if you’re going to give the edge aggression and octagon control to Diaz for been in control for longer in that round or if your going to give it do Noons because he had the edge in terms of control for most of the action, there really is no clear winner in that round any judge would have grounds to give his decision to ether fighter.
Personally I would score the round 10-9 Diaz because his dominance in the first 3 mins did yield a knock down and control on the ground, and I don’t think that Noons had quite enough total control in the last 2 mins to justify coming back from that and winning the round because even though he had the upper hand over those 2 mins, Diaz was still very much in the fight and able to do just enough to maintain his early lead.

Clear 10-9 Diaz no question about it, Diaz controlled the pace in this round was successful at keeping KJ out of his range by using his reach advantage effectively where as KJ was never really able to get going, he had short spells where he was able to get inside but failed to make them count enough to justify stealing the round from Diaz who had the control and dictated the tempo for the majority.
Going in the Championship rounds we have the scores set at 29-28 Diaz leaving him only needing one more round to justify his claim to the title.

No question in my mind Diaz wins the 4th 10-9, arguably 10-8, but I am going with 10-9 Diaz because at no point did he look like he was going in to try and finish the fight. Aside from a short spell near the end when Noons lead with the uppercut and went on a desperate aggressive spell to try and turn things around, Diaz again had control of the round used his reach advantage to great effect, and even then during the short spell near the end when KJ did turn up the aggression Diaz was able to catch his with a big shot and force him to give up his attack.
Going into the final round the score sits at 39-37 Diaz, and if you ask me the look on Noon's face as he walks back to his corner suggests he knows this and that he now needs to finish in order to win this fight.

Will finish this up and score the final round before the night is out, just going to grab some food before I complete the final round, but from what I have seen so far Diaz was more than good for his win, I have not watch the fight yet in real time (sad I know) but its not on live here in the UK and I could not hold out long enough to wait for the download to not find out the result and read up all about it, by which time after reading all the comments about a bad decision all I really wanted to know was it all true was KJ robbed.
TBH after watching 4 round and knowing that this does go to the judges, no way was Diaz not good for his win, no matter what is about to happen in this final round short of a Finish Noons is a beaten man, unless by some miracle he can pull a 10-8 round and earn him self a draw but I seriously double thats how this is going to play out.

Power Punches who have only one goal, to hurt your opponent!
All Diaz did was to hang out his Jab and keep KJ away from him. He wasn't willing to end this anytime before the bell rings.
Plus I guess, to stop a Takedown means actually ZERO in MMA. If so thats very sad, cause KJ contolled the entire fight, where this fight takes place. He stuffed Diaz 0-4 on Takedowns.
As a whole I still score this fight for Noons!
I watch the fight then every time a incident happens that I feel has an impact on the score I pause it and then record the incident, sometimes even replay it if I feel unsure if or not it landed until I am sure it counts, then move on to the next part.
Defence of a TD does count for something, there is a lot of judges discretion in scoring in terms of how high you value a certain action or incident, its not like its not like football where if you score it counts for 1 and that is that, judges are there to give there personal verdict not apply a precise science.
as for the heavy shots most of them missed, in fact Diaz has landed the most powerful shots for the last 2 rounds (rounds 3 and 4), Noons has not been an image of what he was in the second, a shot what dont land dont count for shit, every fighter intends to win a fight but when you don't land that intent dont win you the fight, Diaz has without question fought a smarter fight and has been successful at keeping Noons out of his range and right fully deserves to be 39-37 ahead after 4 rounds, only way Noons even comes close to been even with Diaz at this point is if you give him the 1st and thats is a long stretch to deny Diaz the 1at even more so since he is the defending champ.
