It's The Perfect Plan For PRIDE

Now that I think about it if Cro Cop does what he says hes gonna do and return to Pride after he finishes out his UFC contract Pride will finally get a ton of American fans.

Cro Cop comes to UFC and dismantles everyone with extremly exciting showings quickly becoming one of the most popular fighters in the UFC even to the ignorant UFC fan (not saying all UFC fans are ignorant just refering to the ones who are)

He goes back to Pride but UFC fans want more. They here Cro Cops fighting on a Pride card so they check it out since they now know how good he is and wanna watch him.

They dont think Pride is as good as UFC because thats what they've been lead to believe but see Cro Cop fight for the title against Fedor and lose.

They change there mind and think Pride is as good as or better than the UFC and Pride steals a TON of fans from UFC.

So right now I think Cro Cop going to UFC is a great business plan for Pride. Even if it wasnt the plan this has a great chance of really working in their favor in the end.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, it actually crossed my mind that this is a scheme of some sort thought out by the 'brilliant business minds' of DSE. Kinda sneaky though, dont you think?

It is sneaky, but then again, aren't there strong rumors that DSE is a front for the Yakuza??

If this is all true, then it would be great strategy.

Good thinkin' asskicker But to me, It would take more than 1 dominant fighter to bring a lot of fans to PRIDE. This could've been PRIDE's plan all along. It would for sure attract more fans. Crocop comes across as a nice guy no doubt about it. But to him, I bet he's thinking he will smoke the HW division. He will definitely make PRIDE look good

UFC is giving cro cop 8, and I repeat 8 digits. He ain't going back to Pride.

And anyways none of that will happen, because Eddie Sanchez is going to KTFO Cro Cop...AHAHAHAH!!!

I think your whole idea is wrong. First off,CroCop will be in the UFC for almost 2 years(could be longer if he signs an extension after 2 or 3 of his fights of his 6 fight deal). He hasnt even fought in the UFC yet,so talkinga bout the day he might leave is premature.

The UFC has grown by leaps and bounds the past year to 2. Who knows how big and stacked it "could" be in 2 years.

Several things are possible over the next 2 years. Things like..Fedor could retire? PRIDE OR UFC could fold/merge.. UFC HW division could be stacked in 2 years. CC might not even be the champion in 2 years. Fedor could move on.

2 years is along time right now in the UFC/PRIDE World.
