Yeah but when has he defened or proven he is the best he lost in the Bushido tornement to Kazuo Misaki which Fiho won. So who's the champ Hendo has the belt but is it Filho Misaki it could even be Kang. I just think that is the definsion of a paper champ he should just move up to LH or as Pride calls it MW. I don't get the point of there tornements they stur up conterversey, Silva paper champ ,Hendo paper champ and Gomi can be thought to be a paper champ. |

I love the tourneys but I think if you lose in the tourney, whoever you lose to should take ur belt. In this case Filho would be champ. Because Misaki beat Hendo, Filho beat Misaki. Than we would have no arguments. Filho would be WW champ and Misaki would be the Bushido Grand Prix Champ

If you going by just plain out skill and who is the "best" then Filho. If your going with the whole rankings system MMAWeekly has got Lindland at number one, so I am guessing with all those factors added up, they probably have some just reason to put him up there.

I'd give it to Filho but if anyone can beat him its Hendo. I think Dan matches up real well with Filho. Lindland matches up with him pretty good too, Silva on the other hand doesnt match up with him well.

I would like to see silva and franklin go at it again before i decide. I have heard too many rumors that rich was sick and I didnt think he looked to well either. It would be interesting to see what happens.

not a fair topic not enough people on this forum have seen more than half of the other guys fight cause they have been watching ufc for 6 months and dont watch pride so have no clue about the other fighters

Silva impressed me with his ground game against Lutter and I think has opened people eyes who already didnt know to his true skill level. But its hard to say... There are a lot of good fighters at 185.
