Cormier wins by UD:

Round 1 - Cole throws hands early, but Cormier gets through a jab. Cormier snaps off a nice low kick and then clinches and puts his opponent against the cage. A couple quick front kicks knock Cole off balance, and after clinching high, he powers Cole to the mat and lands in side control. Cormier considers a guillotine as Cole tries to get back to his feet but gives it up. Cole gets to his feet, but Cormier takes his back before pushing him back into the cage. Cormier works short punches to the gut, but Cole answers with a nice knee to the body. Cormier looks for the trip takedown, but Cole fends it off. They remain clinched, and Cormier puts him against the fence again. The fighters trade short punches and then break with more punches. Cormier wings and lands a wild overhand right and follows with additional punches and a head kick. Cole looks wobbly and eats a left and then an uppercut. Cormier scores a trip-takedown and delivers some ground and pound to close out the round. It's all Cormier, who takes the opening round 10-9.

Round 2 - Cormier moves forward with punches, but Cole avoids then, They clinch, and Cormier works punches to the body. Cole pushes forward, and Cormier uses a whizzer to get to the mat and take top position. Cormier lands hammerfists while pushing his opponent into the cage. A steady stream of short punches continue, and Cormer gets full mount. Cole nicely uses the fence to get free, but Cormier quickly corrals him and moves into side control. Cormier lands forearm strikes to the stomach. He then looks for mount but gets stuck in half guard. Cormier continues with elbows to the body and punches to the head. Cormier goes north-south and looks for a choke but moves back to side control. Cole rolls to his knees, and Cormier takes his back and secures his hooks. Cole briefly creates room, and Cormier gives up the position and takes top position. Cole looks a kimura but doesn't have the position. Cole screams as he torques it, but Cormier is unfazed. This one belongs to Cormier, who gets it 10-9 on the scorecard.

Round 3 - Both guys look a little tired, and Cole works straight jabs. Cormier is too far away for his front kick. Both swing and miss wildly. They clinch in the center, and Cole fends off the trip takedown. Cormier puts his opponent against the cage and delivers a few punches to the body. The ref calls for a restart in the center. Cormier lands a short uppercut, but Cole deflects and nearly lands an illegal knee to the head. The fighters scramble on the mat, but Cole gets back up and puts Cormier against the fence. Cormier reverses the position but takes a knee to the gut. The ref calls for another restart. Cole lands a short uppercut but doesn't have much behind it, and he pushes Cormier into the cage before he's taken to the mat. The pace slows as Cole remains in the seated position, and they trade short and ineffective punches. Cormier closes out the round with a nice flurry and gets the final round 10-9 on our scorecard. Daniel Cormier def. Devin Cole via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
