Andrei Arlovski: Fighting Tim Sylvia Again 'Is One of My Dreams'

NEW YORK -- MMA Fighting caught up with Andrei Arlovski on Tuesday to talk about his upcoming fight against Sergei Kharitonov at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Silva. "The Pitbull" talked about his mental state going into the fight, what he has done to change up his game and why he wants to fight Tim Sylvia one more time so badly.

Gotta love Arlovski, hope he wins his fight.

Great interview! I love AA and I hope he can get by karatop.

How many times did he say "I got my ass kicked" ??

I think more times than he's actually lost.

God I can't wait to see Arlovski back. I miss watching him fight, and miss seeing him win even more. Hope he does well in this tourny.

A 4th fight against Fat Tim would be hilarious.

WAR Leonidas!!!

If he were to fight Syliva, he could use the Big Mac tactic: throw some big macs in the ring, Sylvia goes for the big macs and Arlovski can kick his ass then!

I expect him to outbox Kharitonov!

He really got exposed recently in K1: my fellow countryman, Ghita chopped his legs off:

and "skinny" Singh Jaideep knocked him out in the 1st

I know that wasn't MMA, but Kharitonov has only 1 MMA fight in the last 20 months, against 8-7 Tatsuya Mizuno.
And 5 fights in the last 4 years.

I am pulling for Arlovski in this one.
If he stays focused and doesn't get over confident, like against Fedor, he should take this.

.

BELIEVE!

I hope he does... and remember.... he cannot shave his chest, it's bad luck evertime he does that!

I always want AA to pull through but I have a feeling Kharitonov will pull it off.

One can only hope, War Arlovski

I'm getting more confident in Andrei Arlivski though, he has all the tools and more to pull it off against Kharitonov. All he has to do is stick to his gameplan which i think his going to do since his working with Greg Jackson.

Agreed, he HAS to stick with his game plan. When he strays away from that, it usually ends up in frustration and him doing something irrational, which equals him laying on the mat.
